About The Studio
Hi, I’m Adine Freed Koeppe, the creative mind behind Sew Outta Here! Welcome to my world of stitching, making, and giving old materials a vibrant new life.
I live and create in Glitter, my cozy, converted skoolie that’s been transformed into a mobile maker’s paradise. It’s here, in my little sewing studio on wheels, that I turn discarded, thrifted, or end-bolt textiles into beautiful, functional pieces. Whether I’m teaching others how to sew, crocheting, or refinishing furniture, I’m all about crafting with intention and creativity.
My Mission
I’m passionate about inspiring others to embrace sustainability and the beauty of slow fashion. By reusing materials that might otherwise end up in a landfill, we can tread lighter on the earth and create something truly unique. Sewing, to me, is more than a skill—it’s a meditation in love, respect, patience, and simplicity.
A Responsibility to the Future
The fashion industry has left a trail of environmental harm, and I feel a deep responsibility to help change that narrative. Slow fashion is about more than just sewing—it’s about rethinking how we consume, create, and care for the world around us. By choosing to make and mend with intention, we take a step toward healing the damage caused by generations of waste and excess. It’s not just a creative act; it’s an act of hope and accountability.
Why Sew Outta Here?
Sew Outta Here is more than a blog; it’s a space for creativity and connection. Here, you’ll find tips for sewing with recycled materials, projects that spark joy, and stories from my travels as I hunt for inspiration and treasures. Along the way, I also create one-of-a-kind accessory pieces for people, pups, and homes, available in my little online store. It’s just another way I bring my love of crafting and sustainability into the world.
It’s my hope to inspire you to see the potential in what others overlook—and to show how a needle, thread, and a little intention can make the world a better place.
Join me on this journey of crafting, sewing, and exploring the endless possibilities of creating something new from something old. Let’s make magic together, one stitch at a time!
